Webinar: Cleansing Supply Chains of PFAS ‘Forever Chemicals’

Free recorded webinar

PFAS (Per- and polyfluorinated alkyl substances), also known as the ‘forever chemicals', are a large chemical group of over 4,500 highly persistent synthetic chemicals that don’t occur in nature.

PFAS are highly functional chemistries that have been used in consumer products such as textiles and leather for clothing and footwear, in non-stick cookware and in paints and construction materials. Due to their persistence in the environment, PFAS chemicals can be easily transported, covering long distances away from the source of their release. PFAS chemicals are now omnipresent in ecosystems and are found in animals and humans, food, soil, and water.

Because of increasing concern over the impact and legacy of these chemicals there is mounting legislation around the current and future restrictions surrounding PFAS chemistry.

In this one-hour webinar, our experts helped you navigate through the changing PFAS landscape, providing:

  • An in-depth explanation of PFAS chemistry and its use in product supply chains
  • The main global legislative positions and updates (US and EU focus)
  • Testing solutions that can help cleanse supply chains of these forever chemicals and first-hand knowledge sharing.
